Friends of mine came out with Newport Lamding and had a blast catching yellowtail jacks to 25 pounds fishing at Catalina Island. Newport Landing has everything needed for a fishing trip including rentals and accesories. I decided to give it a try on a shorter 1/2 day afternoon trip and had alot of fun. We caught over a dozem calico bass, 6-7 sand bass, and one 18 pound halibut! I will be doing this much more when I next return to the LA area.
Can't go wrong with these guys.
