Went fishing with the conch fleet today.Had a BLAST! As an ex captain of 6 license issues, I found both the captain an the mate to be knowledgeable and courteous as well . Of course they offered me the Taxidermy service. I needed it because I caught the fish of a lifetime

This was a joke. Was booked thru a conciege which only seemed to want a deposit which I'm sure was her kickback to book us on this boat. Once we got to the boat we were placed on the smallest boat of his fleet. They only showed me pictures of the larger boat to get us to book. Sounds like a bait and switch deal to me. Then the capt they promoted so much wasn't even on the boat. Talking to the capt is when I found out he wasn't even from Key West. Very few fish and all they wanted was for us to mount the fish and give them a tip. NEVER AGAIN. FISHERMEN BEWARE of this one. Go to the dock and look around before booking these guys. There are way better people than these. Do your homework if you plan on having a good time.

Had my wifes very first trip out,stopped to catch bait and she caught a cuda and they talked me into mounting it for her,,,1,000 bucks later,
but we headed for the reef and started fishing and everything we hooked they wanted us to mount them,
they wanted 310.00 at the dock for down payment for the cuda and then GREYS wanted 650 plus another 350 to ship it back to TENN. for a little plastic and paint,,,NOT AGAIN.....BEWARE people

This sounds very close to my experience wih the same company, a concierge booked me on this boat and there were 6 people and we only caught 2 fish and of those 2 fish all the crew cared about was that we mount them. BAD IDEA never again! I wonder if the concierge knows what is really going on or just looking for a kick back.

gosh, i had a completely different experience!
I am a Miami girl, who's fished all my life. I am 74 now. These guys took me to FISH> I never fish in the month of August expecting much. It's too hot.

I am not sure where they got the Capt. or the Mate but they were more lost then we were. They drove us around for a few hours and we got a baracuda, well almost got one. They never did get a fish to the boat. I booked this thought a hotel and I will never book with them again. They did ask to be tipped a few times and they wanted us to mount the baracuda that we did not catch for $1000?

Same with us, the boat was small, they said it was 36' but it was a 34'. The crew did not care but for a tip and a fish mount. What does Conch have to do with fishing anyways? Asked around after and found out we made a mistake.
