good crew crappy fishing.all they wanted to do was catch shark and kingfish which in my mind are both crap.wont ever use again.if you make it your first time it might be ok but been on better for sure

Have been offshore Texas fishing for many-many years. First time to use Captain Paul. One of my many lifetime MISTAKES. DO NOT use this charter.Red snapper season just opened, so our group (wanted to catch our measley limit of snapper, then fish for other types of fish. Capt. Paul primarily wanted to fish for "top feeders" (king mackerel, ling, etc.) He strung out drift lined(which got in the way of the other fishing). When one of the drift lines got a "hit" he hollered for everyone else to reel in. In short the trip resulted in about a dozen small sharks(2 - 3 ft.), 2 king mackerel, about 6 small snapper(largest about 2#.). Worse offshore trip of my life & been doing it for more than 30 years. Also, this boat will NOT accomodate the number of persons (18) comfortably that they stae in their ads. Eight - ten should be their max. Even then, Captain Paul does NOT know how to put his boat on the fish. Not good at any price.

Paid alot of money to sit on a boat all day and not catch anything. It didnt seem like the capt did much to help us catch anything. Tips were expected for sub par service? Sorry, not worth how much we paid for it.

Very disappointed. Capt and First Mate hardly said anything, used only one type of bait. Capt Paul read the newspaper on top the whole time and could care less if we caught anything. Paid way too much money for lack of service. And then wanted a 50% gratuity. waste of time and money

Aug 7th Private Charter

Hardly any bites amd brought home very limited fish. Not worth the price. Captain John should really try to learn specific spots in ocean as other Captains do. Terrible experience and our 12 Anglers left upset. Deckhand was fishing himself ratha than helping the Anglers onboard. To many issues with the equipment onboard which we paid for usage. I recommend Deep Sea Headquarters in Aransas Pass, where they know where to fish for specifics and catch the qouta.
