Do not let the price fool you. We took our family on their party boat called the zekes lady. They forced us to pay an additional $10 per person to participate in some stupid fishing tournament. These people screwed everyone who got on the boat. Nobody wanted to participate in their stupid snapper fishing tournament. It appeared to be another way to fleece the tourist. We were unhappy the whole time because all the captain wanted to do was catch the winning fish. This was not a tourist friendly boat. Zekes has false advertising. We went in wanting to take our three kids out fishing and join some others. We wanted to go with a few more people, not 40 people. They told us no other boats were open which we found out later that was a bold face lie. We will never use zekes charter fleet every again. They ripped us off and did not give us the trip we wanted.

I had a great time on the Rookie II!! Jason the captain and Jason the deckhand were awesome! They really know what fishing and having a good time is all about. I highly recommend them. Zekes charters is a great place to plan your vacation around, they are very friendly. We caught some nice big red snapper and amberjack. We will definitely be back next year!!
