we had 2 trips out with Jake Perry on May 10th and 11th 2011
and it was our daughters first time ever on saltwater.
I had be staying in touch with Jake all year up to our trip and he is VERY friendly and kept us up to date with what was biting.
we feel like we have made a NEW friend before we ever met him,
now for the fishing,,we headed out 40 miles west of Key West first morning and found the spot in 150 ft. and I asked him to take care of the ladies and that is what he did,,he started sand balling for yellowtail snapper for them and had 1 rod for grouper first fish my wife got was an AMBERJACK about 18 lbs. and our 20 yr. old daughter started catching yellowtail and I sat on the front of the boat for an HR. before I had my first bite and all I heard out of Captain Jake was I told him to take care of the ladies,,,lol
Had my hook cut off by something reeled in and rebaited and caught a 52 lb. COBIA/seen 2 LOGGERHEAD turtles mating and just had a BLAST.

2nd day we headed due south to 800 ft of water looking for my wifes first DOLPHIN we learned alot about them and she caught a hand full under sized and only brought back 6 to the dock had a few hooked up and lost them to sharks daughter didnt like that...lol
If you want a GREAT time on the water call Jake and he WILL take care of you like no other.
