Chartered the Gulfstream with Tucker and Jeff this month and was totally underwhelmed.

Request was simple enough - catch some shark, a species often considered a 'nuisance' in these waters due to taking baits meant for more worthy species. I have been vacation fishing in the area for close to 25 years but didnt expect to get taken on a tourist trip

After clearing the 'no wake' zone thru Sand Key Bridge, we proceeded for a further hour AT THE SAME SPEED, to arrive due west of Dunedin LESS THAN A MILE OFF SHORE.

We then fished TWO RODS BETWEEN A PARTY OF EIGHT

The 'Hotspot' only managed to produce one bite, which deckhand Jeff managed to lose at boatside.

I understand that fishing is fishing, and have at times had poor sessions, however with no apparent effort being made to put us over fish, this was a waste of four hours of my life and 640 of my bucks. The guys saved big on gas, used almost no bait for a slick, the least they could do was try..........but no, Tucker was happy to sit topside and read whilst Jeff was pre-occupied with catching baitfish for the livewell.

In summary, this was a lazy captain and inexperienced deckhand ‘going thru the motions’

I cannot, under any circumstances, recommend you spend your hard-earned bucks here
