I definitely will be back. I went last spring and caught a ton of fish thanks to Captain Larry and his deck hands. They are friendly and extremely helpful with their tips on how and what to use. I think next time we will do a charter though. I plan on bringing a group this time. See you soon guys

DO NOT GO HERE!!! I went here last summer and this winter as well. Both times we made reservations a couple days in advance. The guy in the office told us to call the night before our trip to make sure they had not cancelled. He told us they always make decisions the night before. We called the night before and both times the trip was still scheduled. So both times we drove 45 mins from our hotel to the boat the next morning and found out when we arrive that the trip had been cancelled. The bad thing is that they had everyones phone number and didnt call anyone that morning. So as i said before DO NOT GO HERE!!!

I wanna thank Captain Chris and Mate Joe for a beautiful trip on the Knot Easy. My party is still bragging about the trip. Our wives and children had a wonderful time on the Starship dolphin cruise that you reccomended. We caught a ton of fish on our Gulf trip and you both were very fun and entertaining between anchoring. Your tips were extremely helpful on the fish and on advising the women and kids to go on the dolphin cruise. We will be back and so will our familys

This is the shadiest business I have ever seen!!! We were on our vacation on my birthday and all I wanted to do for my birthday was go deep sea fishing. So I called down and made reservation for our group of 12 and they assured us that it would be great. We got there and the boat was so packed that there was no room for most of us to sit and nowhere enough fishing pools or spots on the boat to fish. There was 136 people on this boat that should have carried about 75, and they kept on packing the people on to make that final buck! Seeing that there was no way we were going to stand for a 4 hour trip in the summer heat and that we would not be able to fish, we got off and demanded a refund. We were met by the owners snotty little high school daughter who got all lippy with us and told us we couldn't have one. I raised a fuss then another guy came and gave us our refund. That night I was so pissed about it I called and demanded to talk to the owner. This hillbilly got on saying he was the owner so I told him our story and at no time did he apologize! He did said come back tomorrow and he would take us on a fishing trip with our group and 15 others he had chartered. So we went back...his daughter was snotty to us again...we got on the boat and at first there was just about 30 like he said but then we waited for 45 minutes and they packed them on again like the first time till there was about 100. We decided because it was not as packed and we had out spots to fish, and it was free, that we would stay this time. As we are going out to sea my friend pointed out that the fishing polls were not out, so I went and inquired from the crew to make sure that it was a fishing trip. I told him the whole story and he assured me that it was. An hour went by and nothing, so I went back back and asked the guy when are we getting to our fishing destination, which he replied, "Oh you meant fishing on this trip? I thought you meant do we use this boat for fishing. This is a dolphin watching trip...". I was so mad I wanted to throw him off the boat...but I decided to save that for the hillbilly owner when we got back. We got back but my friends had me calmed down enough that I decided to do nothing and wash my hands of this whole incident. But I though I should let me story be heard about my dealings with this company and how they ruined my birthday. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS CRAPPY COMPANY!!! THEY DON'T CARE ABOUT YOUR EXPERIENCE...ONLY ABOUT TAKING YOUR MONEY!!!

charter 7/28/11 on the Deep Fin (or Blue Fin, can't remember the exact name) with captain Robert and son Josh. Caution, this captain was interested in money only. I chartered this boat for a 10 hour gulfstream bottom fishing trip. This captain never went to the gulfstream but certainly pretended that he did. During the last few hours of the trip, he was actually motoring very slowly (heading 300) back home to save fuel while pretending to look for fish. We were never in more than 80 feet of water and I don't bleieve we were ever more than 35 miles out. This captain obviously thought I was stupid. Unfortunately, his young son (25 years old) has evidently been taught to go along with type of unethical behavior, and I was told he will be the next captain on this boat in 2012. That whole trip was very interesting since someone at Little River (while shopping for a charter) had actually warned me about Voyager fishing. I didn't pay much attention to it since it was a competitor, but they did state; "they are crooks and only interested in the money." I guess I'll believe them on my next trip to Myrtle Beach.

Horrible trip , it was obvious they only care about the money. Very crowded people fishing over your head and elbow to elbow all around the boat. Some people could not find a available fishing pole. Not enough life jackets to go around , no toilet paper in bathroom, broken fishing reals, not enough help on boat I could go on and on dont make the mistake I made and go for the cheapest ($30.00 for a falf day)

Captain Larry is only after the money!! He took us on a fishing trip when the weather was bad and all other charters cancelled. As soon as we left the inlet we hit a wave that threw a good sized man 4 feet in the air and he landed on his shoulder and hip. The captain called for the crew to come and help this man up and they were falling on the man, because they could not even stand up because the boat was rocking so bad. Not only did we not even put our fishing poles in the water, but we had to hold on to something to keep from being thrown all over the boat. The ocean was very choppy and he knew he should have cancelled this trip. he would not take u back. There were no life jackets on board and he could have hurt everyone on board. The boat continually rocked from side rail to side rail, all the while people were throwing up and crying and asking him to take us back to the dock. Afterward he refused to give anyone back their money,HE IS A CROOK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

After fishing with alot of the the charter boats from Wilmington to Murrells Inlet, the crew on the Voyager was by far the best trained, and friendliest that my family has encountered thus far. Their first concern was always the safety of the passengers. Imagine that. I had three children ages 9-14 along with my wife, and we had a great day. The crew does not control the fishing, but they did find us a hot spot, and we had fun. Dan and Aaron (the crew) taught my kids alot on how to catch a fish, and land it. We will be back again in the spring. Thanks for a great trip. John Williams

We paid $40 for a Dolphin cruise. Seeing the brochures you see that these mental giants take people out on the ocean EVERYDAY for fishing. So you would assume that they just know hot spots where you would find dolphins...NOPE! They take you out and follow a shrimp boat! Great fun....I got to see a dolphin just as promised....the dead one that got caught in the nets of the shrimp boat. I was a tourist in this po dunk pile of crap town and this is what I get? They give you a rain check! I really want a rain check to come back and see ONE DEAD DOLPHIN! I later checked their website...it says that they bring sea life on board...they did no such thing and you can't even hear what the guy is saying on the speaker because they have so many people crammed on the boat. These guys are a scam and its a bunch of bs....making money off the death of dolphins. Disgusting and a rip off!! Don't do it!
Only a "tourist" with a bad additude would write such a comment. The crews on the boats do not control what is in the water. Yes, fishing everyday does give you a good idea where the fish are, but changing weather patterns also play a big part in it. Have been on two dolphin cruises with the Voyager in the summer of 2010. Different crews and yes, some crew members are nicer than others,(such is life,they work 14-16 hour days with people expecting to see jaws, and catch the monster that got away.) Guests also have the responsibilty to be sober,considerate, and listen while the crew speaks. I have found the customers to be rude, and insulting to the crew members. These men have alot of responsibilties on the boats, work hard, and try to keep 40 people smiling, it isn't easy. They did pull in nets full of sealife and explained the differnet species of alot of the creatures. We had fun, and my family enjoyed our day. And will continue to support the local fishing industry. Will go out next year when company comes to town. Keep up the fun..

I'm not even sure how this company is still in business. Unless it's because they prey on unknowing tourist who are just trying to have a good time and don't want to create issues from such a inadequate experiance. Paid for 4 hours, got 2 3/4. The captain left 30 minutes late, an hour trip to the fishing grounds, poles in the water for about 20 minutes, poles in the boat, another jaunt to supposedly better fishing for 20 minutes, poles in the water for about 25 minutes, poles in the boat heading home at an hour and half before it was scheduled to be in, arrived to the dock 30 minutes early. Paid to fish, got to fish about 45 minutes, caught nothing. I understand they don't control the fish, however who would know I didn't have my line in the water long enough because the equipment was shoddy. So half my time was in search of a reel that actually reeled! Upon arrival back to the dock, no explanation, to apologies, no captain to be found anywhere! Sorry to say they won't get my return business, but I honestly don't think they care.
went on this boat on aug 11, 2009 captain tried hard to catch fish but i did not catch a one. boat was overcrowded and tangles were very often i am and avid fisherman and have beed many times but have never had this too happen needless to say i will not be going with this boat again
This outfit is a scam they give a bad tast to charter boats on the east coast.
