Capt. David has a 2010 24 ft Carolina Skiff and specializes in inshore and nearshore charters. This Spring he will also have his 31' Bertram ready for offshore trips. Fly fishng trips are also available. Looking to the Spring and Summer, Capt. David will also take private sight seeing tours of Shackelford Banks and Cape Lookout. You can see dolphin playing, the wild Shackelford horses, the beautiful Beaufort waterfront, and the Cape Lookout Lighthouse. Capt. David is US Coast Guard licenced and will provide all life vests and fishing bait and tackle. He also does night trips to catch the larger Drum or Sharks if you are looking for a really exciting trip! Night time fishing is also good for larger Blue fish and trout. My children and I enjoyed our day of fishing and playing in the water. Dakota charters created a safe and family centered environment. We caught fish, saw dolphins and a turtle. The kids were beyond thrilled with our adventure. We are ready to go again. Thank you Nakota Charters!!!!!

We fished a bad day. ( ALL DAY )
30 mph winds , cold
He showed us what we wanted to know.
We caught many trout.
Other guides were calling him to find fish.
David showed us what the water was trying to tell us.
Great learning trip for us ( what we wanted )and Melissa caught trout all day.
Will be back to drum fish with you this spring.

My husband and I had a wonderful day with Captain David Stone in September 2010. He went way out of his way to make sure we had an enjoyable day, which was my birthday. I would highly recommend Nakota Charters to anyone that is visiting the area. Casey, Captain David's wife, was so patient with all of our questions prior to getting to the coast. Captain David's knowledge of the local fishing waters and the culture of the area was well worth the trip.
