My first trip with Capt. Jerry was my very first trip out on Lake Erie. I was nervous. Capt. Jerry was wonderful. I overcame my fears. My first trip out, it seemed like we've known Capt. Jerry for a lifetime. He makes you feel "right at home". We go out on Capt. Jerry's charter 2 & 3 times a year now. The equipment is always ready to go and if you need something different, Capt. Jerry fixes it for you. I would recommend Playin' Hooky Charters to anyone.

I have been on quite a few charters with Captain Jerry. He is very helpful, knowledgeable, and fun. We try to get at least 1 charter in with him a year. In 2009 I was on crutches and my foot in a cast. He was very accommodating and kept asking if I was alright. I would highly recommend Playin' Hooky Charters.

My sons and I have fished with Captain Jerry a number of years.

Jerry is a friendly and professional boat captain and is everything you would come to expect in a charter captain. Both my son and I look forward to our get togethers when fishing, and now I am bring my second son along too.

It has been my observation that when the fish are biting, we do better them most of the other charters that go out the same day. Conversely, when the fish are NOT biting, we usually come in with MORE then the other charters do. Jerry knows his business well, and I have never been dissapointed with his skills as a charter guide captain.

My cousins also fish Lake Erie and they have their "own" captains that we sometimes use. My point: I have compared Jerry's services, prices, and the amount of fish we catch to others, and I always feel that Jerry's operation is nop notch. This is why when it is just my sons and I, we always call upon the services of "Captain Jerry" (as he is known in our household). Jerry is great with kids and really believes the importance of fishing and family time.
