The "Hakuna Matata" is a 30ft. Sportcraft offshore fisherman with a very stable 10ft. beam. Power by brand new twin 230 hp Chevy V-8 inboards, you will get to the fishing grounds quickly and safely. There is a large cozy cabin with a private head (bathroom) for your convenience. She is fully loaded wih all top of the line equipment and has a large aft deck for landing your trophy fish.We offer a number of package pricing with our wihout lodging so feel free to call with any questions or pricing. We highly recomend Captain Byron of American Dream Sport Fishing. We fished Oct. 9 2011. He put us on the fish right away and kept us on the fish until we had our limit. We boated 25 fish in 2 1/2 hrs. And lost 10. We where the first charter boat in Algoma to return to the dock with their limit. He is very good at what he does and loves doing it. He is very friendly and willing to take the time to explain things. It was the best fishing charter that we have ever been on and look forward to fishing with him next year and years to come. The boat is in great shape with excellent gear and electronics, and everything is well taken care. He exceeded our expectations.

We went out fishing with Captian B a couple days after Labor Day. The affordable price is what drew us to going with this charter and that is the only good thing I can say about it..very affordable.
The Captaind was very rude and unfriendly. He talked on his phone the whole tme we were out and barely utteredtwo words to us. On top of that we didn't catch anything and it didn't seem like he was trying very hard to fnd any fish. We basically sat in one spot for 4 hours.
I would never book with this charter again! Its worth the extra money to pay for a higher priced fishing charter.
I couldn't agree more, spend the money on a decent charter. When you think about it, splitting the cost of a charter with 3 or 4 other people, paying the extra $100 or so really ends up to be about $25 extra per person and its worth it. However I also would not go with a charter that has a bunch of boats, they are only there to turn customers over quickly, make their money, and get on to the next trip.

Highly recommended! Captain Byron's knowledge of the area and his equipment is unsurpassed. Very affordable and great customer service. He definitely goes the extra mile to get the fish in the boat!

This was our first time salmon fishing on Lake Michigan and we had the time of our life our trip was cut short because of some sick children but we still had a great time VERY FRIENDLY AND KNOWLEDGEABLE CAPTAIN AND ASSISTANT!

I booked a Brown trout trip with him and we had a blast. He knows how to put fish in the boat. He really loves what he does and shows his customers a great time. He will take the time to explain anything you ask him and will teach you allot of techniques.

Captain B put us on the fish all day. Price was great and the service was excellent. He was great with the kids who enjoyed the trip immensely. Will definately be booking with again.
