About Us
We provide fishing charters to anglers interested in saltwater fly fishing, Light tackle for Bluefish, Striped Bass or offshore fishing for Yellwofin, Albecore, Billfish and especially Bluefin Tuna. We can customize the trip based on your desires and expectations. Fishing charters are limited to 4 anglers plus the captain and mate. Fishing guide trips are usually the captain and one or two clients. Our 30' Contender "Incognito" is a serious fishing platform designed by fishermen for fishermen. Contender is known throughout the sportfishing world as a serious center console.We are tuned into the New England sport fishing scene, and have been fishing the New England waters for more than 30 years. We provide ground fishing trips beginning in April, Tuna Charters begin in June, Bass and Bluefish charters begin in May and continue until October. Incognito runs out of Newburyport, Ma. However, we move the boat based on the fishing and our clients. We also run from Gloucester, and Cape Cod.
We encourage our clients to become involved in all aspects of fishing while on the boat. Anglers will never sit and wait for the crew to bait up, set the hook and hand the rod off to them to crank the fish to the boat. By the end of the day you will be able to utilize all that you have learned during your time on the water. We’ll make better fisher people out of you!
Incognito is also available for tournaments. Skipper of Incognito, Captain Paul Lecesse, has many inshore and offshore tournament wins. He has been the subject of many articles in Saltwater Sportsman, Marlin, Tounament Digest, New England Fisherman and others.
Whale watching trips are also available. We limit the number of passengers to 6 for these sightseeing trips. We leave from Gloucester or Newburyport and usually run for about an hour to Stellwagon Bank, or Jefferies Ledge. Inshore sightseeing is also available with tours to Boston Harbor, Gloucester and The Merrimac River. A favorite trip is to the back side of Plum Island where we beach the boat on one of the islands and stop for lunch and swimming.

I have used Captian Paul for several charters over the last few years, always caught plenty of fish. He always seems to know where to go to find the fish. Paul is very patient with teaching kids how to set the hook and catch the fish. That is my son holding the Striper it was his first large fish. We will be back again this year for another trip.

If you are looking to do some striper fishing or want to venture out for giant tuna, Capt. Paul is the choice I would make. Several years of charters with him has proven to me that you stay with the one that has proven results.
He will take you fishing and actually teach you how to fish.

I have had the pleasure of fishing with Captain Lecesse on several occasions and have always had a successful trip. His many years of experience and knowledge of the New England fishery guarantees you an awesome outing everytime. I have fished with Paul on several occassions and wouldn't go with anyone else. He is very professional and patient with us when we were just getting started. He really knows his stuff an we always caught our share of whatever we were going after. My family are planning a bluefine tuna trip with him on the Incognito this summer!
